Well its not that easy to intercept the traffic and decrypt it, but still its better to add security at your wireless router. To further more secure your network, enable MAC address security, so that only those computers can connect to the router which you allow them to.

some Websites dosent suppot the protection thing so hackers can hack it easy , but most of the Website support it , like i always pay for skype throught the internet and so far so good hehe , if u realy want to make sure about it , u have to make sure that there is protection . to know it just look at the corenr of the Website down , when u go to pay or to enter the VISA number or whatever just look down if it got the emotion of eye with X some thing like that , if it dosent have it that’s mean hackers can find it

It’s really not a good idea. It’s not difficult for someone to eavesdrop on your transactions if the wireless connection is not secure. There should be a good firewall on your own machine and there should also be a firewall and at least WPA security on the network router (whether it’s yours or theirs).

Evidently, there is software that is easy to obtain on the internet that cracks WEP security. The wireless connection between your machine and the router is vulnerable unless you secure it.

Is it _likely_ your information could be stolen that way? I can’t say with any certainty, but there’s no reason to risk it if you don’t have to.

    Good luck!
