I am considering banking with Ally [an online banking establishment]. Have you heard anything good/bad about this bank? They seem to have favorable ratings and low fees.

I really would like to know more about stocks and how they work.

(yes, I am young. No, I am not going to jump in and make any brash decisions. No, I don’t expect the stock market to be a “get rich quick” type of thing.)

What I know/have done:
- in seventh grade (four years ago) they had us do a stock market simulation. The online site gives you fake game money but bases all of its stock ups and downs on the real world and what was actually happening. over the semester each group got to make decision on what they thought would be a good investment.
the (fake game) money that we made: average – $14,500, 3-5 groups made $50k-70k, my group got $114k. (If I remember correctly it was mostly google, apple, and a few disney, costco, and a few others? … and some really smart kids in my group!)

What I want to know:
- when you invest in a stock how does it actually make you money? is it like a gaining interest off of a bank account, or do you have to wait until the price rises and sell it to make any profit?
- when you buy stock do you lose money in their rating goes down, or just the money that you spent buying the stock? (is “ratings” even the correct word?)
- when you buy, can you only make money off of selling the stock, or does owning part of a successful business gain you money by itself?

My financial state:
- I am 16 in 11th grade (so leave that to blame if I over shared…)
- make $350 a week (do online schooling – gives me time for a job)
- I currently have about $3,150 saved – I have no trouble saving/keeping my money, money doesn’t burn a hole in my pocket. (that money is actually the money that I have saved for my horse, no need to get on me about that, I already have horses and know to take care of them. I am saving up another $1,400 for a few months in boarding, farrier, vet, etc.)

- after I am done with that, if I saved any extra money how much should I save until I think about investing in anything?

So I have asked a refund on my subscription service to a website and so far no response. I subscribed to this website about a week ago and I’m not happy with their service. I found this part on their website:

“If at any time you contact your bank and request a Reverse Charge (Chargeback) instead of requesting a refund from us you will be submitted to the Bad Customer Database which will negatively affect your Credit Rating and your ability to place future orders anywhere online.

We fight all bank reversals (chargeback’s) and win a large percentage of them as we can prove you purchased via your IP address, Email, Phone Number, Address and have User activity. If you lose your reversal you will end up with no refund or money back. So Remember to contact us first!”

So if I went to my credit card company to dispute the charge, can my credit ratings really be affected? What should I do?

Ok, I play yahoo pool pretty often when I am online. I know there are aimers which I dont need because I can make my shots and most banks ( so dont respond with learn to play because ratings on each are 1500 or more). Anyway, like I said I know theres aimers like xaimer and those things but I see a couple people ( very few) that when they play they can make sometimes almost all balls on breaks or they do these ridiculous kik shots and things you CAN NOT do with a regular aimer. Does anyone know what they are doing or program they are using? I ask because its awesome, they dont just make shots theyll shoot a ball like of three balls then make three or something. ITS CRAZY…can anyone tell me how there doing it??? Like i said I even say one that made all solids on the break!

I bought both pokemon heart gold and soul silver (nintendo ds games) from this website (sondox.com) online last night. I found out about the site from this guy on ebay, its his website and he has like 1600 feedback with 99.5% positive ratings so I figured all would be alright.

I was going to buy just one game, but then realized that instead of paying that $12 shipping for just one game, I can pay $0 for 2 games, so naturally (and after much thought) I opted for the two games. I was simply going to keep the one, and then sell the other one on ebay or something.

Anyways, I got an email sent to me this morning saying that my order had been canceled. It says that something was down on their site, and that some error occurred allowing the free shipping. They invited me to order again but this time for like $18 for the two games.

They completed refunded everything, but I still feel ripped off. Its not my fault that their website had faulty pricing. I paid a certain price for something, didn’t want to return it, didn’t do anything but expect to get it in a week or so. Its not like if I end up paying $9.99 instead of $99.99 in a grocery store that they can call me back in and tell me that they messed up and that I have to pay more. They made the mistake, and have to live with it, and so should these people.

They marked it for a certain price, I bought it for said price, and now (I’m pretty sure that legally) they have to sell it to me for that price.

I have the paypal records and bank account records of it, and even still have they order on his website under my profile. I already sent him a reply to his email telling him all about this and am expecting a reply from him shortly.

Who agrees that this blows and that I should do something about it?? Any advice???

Has anyone gotten a fake link in a description from a youtube user who posted a stupid video to teach you how to hack Runescape, WoW, or other Online computer game saying theres a program in the description and you can hack these sites free just click on the link below? And by the time you click on the link and click on the download button on the site YOU GET A VIRUS.

Doesn’t everyone just hate that when users on youtube are hackers and they post links to trojans that has keyloggers in them? It happened to me before and I had to scan my whole computer just to find it and delete the thing because my Virus Scanner picked up a Trojan when I downloaded that file.

What all i have to say is Don’t trust links on youtube with high raitings or poor ratings. I just wish youtube just suspend these users who post fake links to viruses with keyloggers in them, Its really sad to see some hacker with no life trying to steal your idenity from a keylogger and trying to steal your bank account and all that.

Has anyone had this happen to them before? Not saying it happened to me but does everyone hate it when this happens all the time especially youtube getting involved?

I do all my billing online, however I wasn’t paying attention and scheduled a credit card payment for when the due date was (i.e. 25th). I thought everything was fine and dandy but when the date came by, the money wasn’t transferred until a day later.

I called the bank and they explained delivery times, etc. and removed the late charge to my account. The person on the phone said it wouldn’t affect my credit ratings… and it would normally start affecting my credit score if I didn’t amount due and late charge within 30 days.

As much as I would like to believe them, I still have my doubts. What do you guys think?

As of now, the only debt I have are student loans and car payments (should be done with them within 2 years). Always keep a 0 balance on my credit card.

i know there is a lot of time for the next smackdown vs raw but what features would you want in it?
i would like:
GM Mode-really fun mode and i would like this mode back just how it was before but with added cut scenes and the abilty to cash in the money in the bank, they could also take it up a notch and make it playable online lets say you can play against someone else to get higher ratings and could choose the time limit 2 months 6 months etc.

Keep Universe Mode-quiet a fun mode and they could make it better by adding added cut scenes

Keep Road To Wrestlemania-keep this mode but instead of 5 storylines take it down to 2 or 3 and you can only unlock superstar attries in this mode.

Bring Back Season Mode-bring it back and make it have more cut scenes and more intractive availble to all superstars a 12 month storyline and cut it down to 2 parts tag team and single in tag team you can be a tag team superstar and as you progress you can betray your partner and all sorts.

Money-this feature is from the older sd vs raw games when instead of unlocking superstars you have to unlock them and then buy them with the cash you earn from season mode and gm mode.

Hall of fame mode-this was in sd vs raw 2008 and was basically a relive moment so add this and you can play and you can earn money this way as well.

superstars-have 50 superstars plus lets say 20 legends and unlockables but good unlockables not like yoshi tatsu and ezikiel jackson

improve community creation-this is already good and they only way the could make it better is to increase the amount of downloads for each thing from 50 to 100

also make it easier for created superstars to win things in universe mode

online-improve it by making it more effective and reducing the lag also if you earn 100 wins you get 1 free psn point to download downloadble content and then 200 points you get 2 psn points and carry on like that.

what would you like to add to this game and what do you lot think of my features?
