I tried to download last month’s paperless statement from Chase and a notice came up showing that my account was blocked from doing so. I called Chase customer service, and they found nothing at their end re blocking account and suggested I contact my internet connection.

I’m currently 15 years old (almost sixteen!) and I do alot of spare time commissions work but it gets really hectic with all the snail mails and I really want a paypal.
But I also want my own personal a bank account too!–but I’m a newbie at all this
Where’s the best place for a student to use?
(P.S: If it helps any, I’m not probably going to be using this money much except through the internet and I won’t be using it to buy much stuff, just recieving. I’m just looking for a place that’s pretty secure that doesn’t leech off all my money or anything? x-x;; Alot of information please!)
Please don’t flame me :[ I’m sorry I just want to learn! x_x;;
I opened a savings account shortly before I started dating my husband. When we got engaged I added his name to the account as an authorized user so we could use the account to save for our wedding. This account has now become our emergency account and since we haven’t had any emergencies, we have built up a good sum, equal to about 4 months combined salary.
I was recently reading about avoiding probate and they said you can fill out a form for free and have it on file at your bank that says who the money in the account should go to on your death, but that this form in unnecessary if it’s a joint account as it will automatically go to the joint account holder.
Since we didn’t open this account as a joint account, should I have this form on file for him in the event something should happen to me? Or is having him as an authorized user enough? It’s one of those internet banks, so he could just go on line and transfer the money to our joint account at our local bank, but assuming he will be distraught over my untimely death, I’m worried that he wouldn’t even think about something like that until after my property goes to probate.
I am yet to get a straight, simple answer on the internet. I mainly wanna know who’s responsible for pumping money into the economy and how do we get it? Thanks
I need to get checking accounts, both for personal & business purposes.
Due to a situation of fraud by Paypal, I’ve been put in Chexsystems & I can’t get checking accounts at any local bank, or the Internet banks (like eTrade)
But I recently found a really great bank using Chexsystems solely for identity verification & NOT as a basis on opening an account.
The problem is this bank is about a 45 minute drive (depending on traffic & weather) away, & currently I can’t drive.
The bank said I have to come in person to open the accounts but afterwards, banking can be done online or by phone or ATM.
Most of the deposits to the account will be direct deposit, ACH, etc.
But I may also get checks from customers, & others to cash/deposit.
The closest ATM, in this bank’s network, is just 2 miles away. But it’s NOT this bank’s ATM, it’s a fee-free ATM on the same network.
Can I still deposit personal & other checks (cashier’s, certified, etc.) in this ATM?
