I get fed up with having to travel 2 miles every time i want to check my bank balance as their isnt a cashpoint near me. Is there any way at all i can see my balance on the net? Im with barclays, thanks.

I paid a USA company urbandenimcompany.com via bank transfer over a month ago and after they received my bank transfer I have not heard back from them, they do not answer calls or respond to e-mails. I am very concerned as I it was alot of money and I am in South Africa so not sure what can be done to rectify this problem. How do I take legal action?

The supplier (found through a website) promised to send the item a week ago after payments are made to their bank account (natwest) but has neither sent the item nor responds to enquiries despite the payment already made.

I think to open an account with canara bank it costs rs.500 and they will give atm cum debit card. But my question is can i use that atm/debit card to purchase online and use on paypal. If not which bank allows this. But i cant get a credit card. I not having more than rs.1000 to create account at any other bank. Thanks in advance.

Hello all,
I have internet at home that is both LAN and WLAN. Before I got my laptop, I accessed bank information via LAN with my desktop, which I thought was pretty secure. However, recently I got a laptop and it’s more convenient to move around the house. I’m wondering if it’s “safe” to continue accessing bank information and other sensitive material over the secured wireless internet.

The wireless internet is secured through WPA-TSK and the SSID is not being broadcasted, along with the admin password being changed. I’ve done the best I can to secure my internet.

I have an online business that deals with a large volume of online transactions per month (Online credit card to bank account, and then from bank account to wholesaler) Anyways, will another standard business account do for this volume of transactions that are only done through the internet?
