Internet Bank Archives

I need to get checking accounts, both for personal & business purposes.

Due to a situation of fraud by Paypal, I’ve been put in Chexsystems & I can’t get checking accounts at any local bank, or the Internet banks (like eTrade)

But I recently found a really great bank using Chexsystems solely for identity verification & NOT as a basis on opening an account.

The problem is this bank is about a 45 minute drive (depending on traffic & weather) away, & currently I can’t drive.

The bank said I have to come in person to open the accounts but afterwards, banking can be done online or by phone or ATM.

Most of the deposits to the account will be direct deposit, ACH, etc.

But I may also get checks from customers, & others to cash/deposit.

The closest ATM, in this bank’s network, is just 2 miles away. But it’s NOT this bank’s ATM, it’s a fee-free ATM on the same network.

Can I still deposit personal & other checks (cashier’s, certified, etc.) in this ATM?

Olympic Sports Advising is a sports handicapping group that is tracked by an independent 3rd party website so that we can show that our results are true. We have been advising in the private sector for a while and we moved to internet operations a few months ago. We are having trouble getting the word out and getting people to listen to us and now with football in full swing we want to expand our client base.

I have been reading articles on the internet regarding this. I was wondering if anybody knows anymore real info on this?

if anyone lives in the glens falls area or close by and goes through that bank please help.
i have the internet banking free checking and im pretty sure the check i wrote was over the amount i had in my bank but i forgot to write it in my book (i know i need to keep track) i have been so busy i just forgot… so i was wondering how much do they charge on a bounced check… i can put it right back in pay day, but it worries me if its to much….
thank you

hello there

6 months ago i signed on to my internet banking and my overdraft available was 3,300 pounds. i was struggling at the time so i took the overdraft except now my bank is taking ALOT of interest out each month until it is repaid and i am on benefits.

since my income is the national minimum, was it ok for my bank to give me an overdraft that size? my friend is on benefits too and they would not let her take more than 300 pounds even though she still has the same income as me.

any one know if there is anything i can do about this?
was it irresponsible lending?
it is not going to b easy to pay it back and if it was legal, any advice on how to pay it back?

thank you,

Basically, my old landlady has put the deposit she owed me and my flat mates into my bank account and I can’t yet access the funds. Is this normal? It is over £2000 but on my internet banking my balance says it is in but when I look at my available funds it says that I don’t have that much available. Is this a payment clearance process? The payment was made by DEP (deposit) at a bank and it doesn’t say it is a cheque so I am unsure what to do. Any ideas?

I had enough in my account on the date the debits were paid and so on the printout I have from my internet banking – it shows i was under my overdraught limit all the time, yet because the banks computer system decides to take money out before the bank opens – I have been charged £105.00
I’ve asked for them to reverse it and they refuse quoting that I should read their terms & conditions and that the money should have been in the acc. the day before.
is this correct and is there anything I can do?
I had my telephone banking cancelled months ago for swearing at them when they charged me – After their staff had LIED to me (provable). Since then I have incurred over a thousand pound in charges because I find it hard to manage my account- I’m a lorry driver that’s out for 5 days at a time (sleeping in the truck) with no way of accessing my account.
I hope that the banks have to give me most of it back in january when they have the inquiry but should I claim it now?
????????

My parents pay for my rent and all i pay for are groceries and internet. What do you ppl think?

i helped a friend out with a $1000 loan today, when i went to the teller to transfer from my account and put the money in my friends account

i was given a big NO NO, i must sign a International Money transfer Application at a cost of $28 to take money out of my account and put it into another persons account WTF, i was told even if i had the money in my pocket i cant give the bank details of my friend and deposit the money in there account

now its a 3 day wait until they can get the money, it would have been cheaper and quicker to just get a money order and sent it express post

do other banks do this ? what happened to the good old days when you can just deposit a bit of money into somebodies account

and no i don’t do internet banking apparently that’s free i was told
aussie i dont have my friends card

just the bsb and account number
