OK I had a checking account at National City for a while but after a incident that got the account over drawn and it ended up getting closed. At first I didn’t think it was big deal as I was able to open a new checking account at a credit union where I had a saving account but when I tried to set one up at Chase, they said they couldn’t due to fact that National City needed to be dealt with. Now I’ve heard there are some places that will look past this (Wal-Mart supposedly has some guilt-free checking account) , but I dont’t wanna go anyplace to shady or nothing.

I looked at paypal, but they charge 2.9% for every transaction from a credit card. I was just wondering if there was any way I can make a payment to a checking account with my credit card without being charged.

I have free checking a/c with wachovia bank,I am not using this a/c.

Due to inactivity service charge balance became negative for -$4.50 $ this month.

This negative a/c will infect my credit score? If yes how serious this effect will be?

When,on which date wachovia reports checking a/c activity to credit beauro?

I hope to pay this amount coming monday. If it effect my credit history, how long i will remain on my credit history and how much will it reduce my score?

I have a student checking account at bank of america with a debit card. I was wondering if someone knew if bank of america gives free checks for this type of account? If not, how much would they cost?
