Just curious as to what a direct deposit looks like on the employee end of a bank statement. What does it usually say on the received line? An account number? The business name?

So I started working at this grocery store, and I decided to set up a direct deposit account as a way to save up money, get paid a day early, and the convinience of having a section of my bank in the store. Anyway, I gave my boss the accounting and routing number for the account, but it has yet to accumulate money. How long does it take for my checks to be automatically deposited?

I dont understand why, I did my taxes done and I got it direct deposit….. and I called irs and they said I will get it in check but I got my tax direct deposit so they should direct deposit my stimulus payment . anyone kno? I dont owe irs nothing at all.

I just changed my direct deposit information so that all my NET, Misc, and Travel pay goes to a different bank account on the 1st and 15th of each month. But it still shows the direct deposit going into the same old bank account. I’m guessing it takes a while to update? How long does it take to update?

Is it necessary to have a joint checking account to receive direct deposit from IRS? If not, does the checking account used have to be that of the spouse whose name appears first on the return?

The reason I ask is that I have not received my economic stimulus check yet and my SSN is under 19 (so I was supposed to receive the direct deposit by now). I filed my taxes through Turbo Tax and my refund was directly deposited in my account. Will I get a paper check in the mail? Or should it be directly deposited in my account?

Just trying to figure out how you would get direct deposit from the IRS reabte checks being sent out……I used HR Block, but is the IRS sending it out directly and if so how do I get a direct deposit?
