My grandmother is disabled and her checks come to my house, this way, they wont get lost and I also handle all of her finances, I also have a joint banking account with her as well. Can I cash the checks and give her the cash being that her name is on the check and not mine?

I am finding it extremely difficult to expand on my financial services background and need some suggestions. I have worked in back office operations management (collections, customer service, cash application) for 7 years and need a change desperately. I have applied for numerous positions as an admin asst to traders, operations support, etc. and keep getting turned down due to lack of experience in investment banking. Additionally, I only have an Associates degree in Business Admin. Why don’t these companies want a seasoned professional willing to start from scratch? Now, I know the FED is actually owned by various entities,banks, via shares into the FED system. Also it uses so-called fractional reserves, while some other banks use whole reserves. Just curious,how do other nations do their Central Banking!
