I found a little house in Idaho that is about to go up for sale with a short sale. I have bad credit but steady income. The house is up for 40 thousand. Can I attempt to rent it from the owners to try and keep them from short selling it?

trying to get a car and im selling my old jeep and heard i could get around 500 for it and an old tool box for around 50-100. so that’s about 600 and the car i was looking at is 3k, so knowing how much i can get a signature loan for with good-excellent credit from a chase bank would really help how much more money i need to get.
-thanks
My mother bank was garnished and they didn’t get the full amount can they go after her again for the same bill?
I keep hearing about a new law, that might be part of a presidential order, forgiving the short sale deficiency of a primary residence. Can someone provide confirmation of this new law? If so what are the guildlines, how does it work and what defines a primary residence according to this new law? Everyone who has shared this with me has been in the state of Arizona, is this new law only applicable there?
I certainly don’t want to have my life’s savings frozen in a bank going out of business!
The insurance company for my former Mortgage company claims I owe over $8,000 from the loss occurred by the foreclosure but are willing to accept a lump sum of $5,000. They will only accept payments on the original amount. How can I have the amount lowered and still allowed to make payments?
