Today, there is facebook for social networking, ebay n amazon for online shopping, travel ticketing, online banking, wikipedia, paypal for transactions and a lot more which cater to all almost all our needs. So has the era of online services reached a plateau?

What more services would people like to see online then ?

I need a bank that has multiple ATM’s and very low or no fees when it comes to checking and ATM use. I am looking for a bank that has a large coverage area meaning multiple branches up and down the east coast.

I have a First Command bank account that is based in Texas. I am in Idaho. I would like to get most of that money and put it into a bank here. How do I do that? By “wiring money”? If so is that hard to do? Thanks

I have a free checking account with 5/3 bank. On Friday evening I deposited $180 into my account. I just checked my statement and it only shows that I deposited $100. I was wondering what happened to my extra $80, and got a bit worried since I didn’t print out a receipt.

Well, it turns out that the $180 is “pending” even though my balance shows that $100 has been added.
It also shows -$80 and that is listed under “other.”
I looked up what “other” means and this is what it says:

“Other” reflects items that affect your Available Balance including deposited funds being held, Bank holds, and CheckCard Plus signature-based purchases. Check deposits made today at an ATM or Banking Center would be included in your pending transactions but will not be available until the transaction posts to your account and funds are verified.

Exactly what does that mean? When will I get my $80 posted into my account? Also, I deposited cash, not a check.
Okay… sooooo… what about my $80 that hasn’t been put into the account? Also, I would have gave it to a teller but the bank was closed at the time.
Thank you very much! That makes sense since I did deposit it in the evening when the bank was closed. I assumed that they wouldn’t deposit it into the account till Monday, but they did a partial thing. That explains everything.
