I’m not US citizen, but am going there in about a week,
i would like to open a US bank account that will do the international online transactions, so when I leave US I would be still able to transfer in between the cash. Thanks

I understand that it is not manditory to use direct deposit. Also, I get paid weekly. This week it did not arrive on time. Anyone have any idea why my employer might not be using dirdct deposit?
I pay the remaining half. The letter went on to say that they would consider my account paid in full and they will report my account to the major credit reporting agencies as “Account paid in full for less than full balance”.
My question is, if I take this offer and pay off my debt for half, will I have credit problems in the future because they will see that my “account was paid in full for less than the full balance”? Is it better for me to work on paying off the enitre balance and skip the half-off offer so my account says “paid in full”? If anyone has done this, or works for a credit agency, and can give me some advice that would be wonderful! Thank you in advance!
There is no fine print. It is simply a letter asking me to call them with a decision on the offer within 30 days.
I do have enough to pay the lump sum.
If so what sort of info do I need? I don’t have a social security obviously, as I am a Canadian Citizen. Can I open a US bank account with a passport, and/or credit card?
I want to start saving money. I like to spend money but I was planning on putting 50, 75, or 100 in the bank every 2 weeks when I get paid. I have a part time job and am 18 years (young) so as you can imagine I am not making a whole lot of money. Is this a good idea?
Hi,
I had claimed extra US federal tax in financial year 2009-2010. Now, I have relocated out of country and am based in India. I have received letter from US treasury to give a check of balance. I am already past the due date. I hold my account with Bank of America. Can I issue a check online from bank of america net banking etc. If not, any other option, one can suggest. I don’t want to have to post a check from here in India and I think, I don’t even have any blank checks with me now. I will try to get some friend from US drop a check into ATM for US treasury (in my name,my tax account number etc). But are there any other options with me, which I can do myself?
Thanks,
I checked my email one time but I only have the 300 text messaging plan in T-mobile. I heard that it counts as using the internet and not as a text, how much extra will it cost on my next bill since I checked my email once and I didnt go over my texting limit?
i just verified my bank account with paypal. I thought it was a safer way to pay but im a bit confused. How long does it take for paypal to actually withdraw the funds from my account? Also do i need to wait until funds fully clear from my account until my items ship?
when i try and look it scrambles my brain. who do you use.
Please advise, where should I record cash surrender value of life insurance on a balance sheet: under current or intangible assets?
Thank you everyone.
