I was just wondering how much money does the average college student have in the bank. I have one friend who has $20.00 in the bank and another friend with close to $6,000.00 in the bank and i have like $150.00 in the bank, so I was just wondering what is the normal average amount of money college students usually have?

I am not the US resident, but I need US debit card and telephone number to confirm my participation in Web store program.

So, what to do, how can I get US debit card and telephone number?

me & my husband just opened a new joint checking acct at the beginning of the year so I’ve been trying to get my auto loan payments taken out of this new acct. I’ve called Wells Fargo like 7 times & it’s still not right!! Now they are harassing me & calling me saying that I owe them 2 payments when I really only owe them 1 and that is for March. I called 2 people just today who weren’t friendly…one of them was saying that I owed for Feb when that isn’t true because I went to bank online & that was taken out of my acct. They are saying that after 10 days if no payment is made it will go against my credit, when really it is their own fault because nothing has been taken care of when I call them. I’ve called to make March payments but they keep reversing the payment each time. They need to find smarter people to work for them. Once my car is paid off next year I will never finance another vehicle through WF!!

im looking to put my money into an online bank to get about a 5% interest rate. its a full proof way of investing your money i believe.any other good idea’s of investing your money would be appreciated.
I know about ing direct and heard citibank has 5.5%. i was just wondering if their are any smaller ones with higher rates trying to make a name for themselves that are FDIC insured

I have a small amount of savings (less than 50K) in a US-based Internet bank. Currently my company is being sued for a large amount of money. Though (for many reasons) I doubt they’ll get to my personal accounts I’d really like to not take a chance and somehow protect it. Offshore seems to risky and costly for this small amount of money. Any other ideas?
