My roomate and I use the same bank. I’d like to automate rent payments from his account to mine since the expenses come out of my account. When I call the bank they don’t seem to understand what I’m asking and suggest that he use the bill pay service to do this or I add him as an authorized user on my account (don’t want to do that). Has anyone set this up successfully and if so, what bank do you use?

It says the current balance on this LIVE account is $7.99 and because of that I can’t remove my debit card from the payment options until the outstanding balance is paid. How can i pay that balance so I can cancel my card on this?

I want to be able to make purchases online and in stores without having to pay extra fees after every transaction. I don’t have a savings or checking account and i can’t afford the monthly upkeep of one. So which would be better to just apply for a debit card or a gift card, and why?

I didn’t plan on taking any out but I just found a great summer class through another school that I’d like to take. Problem is, it’s expensive, and I don’t have the cash on hand to pay for it. So I have to take out a subsidized stafford loan, as I was offered for the summer.

I would have to pay for the class on June 17th. My school requires only a week to process my loan once I tell them I want to accept my award. I’m just now finishing my entrance counseling, however.

I had to submit references and a whole bunch of other junk, so how long (approx) will it take for this part to be processed? I assume it won’t be instant.

I suspect my eldest son is visiting inappropriate internet pages and deleting the internet explorer history to cover his tracks. Our operating system is Windows XP. Is there anyway I can view or recover the deleted folder to find out what he is viewing. My wife and I feel that if we know what he is trying to hide (gambling, drugs, etc) we will be in a better place to discuss it with him.

I recently paid my credit card bill of $2.27, however the credit card company entered the payment as $227.00, causing $50 in overdraft fees at my bank. The credit card company had me fax over a statement with the bank fees on it so they can take care of it, however after 3 weeks they still haven’t done it, they tell me that they don’t even know if the statement is in the building and that they get hundreds of faxes a day and as soon as they get to it, they will handle it, what if this takes months? Is there a way I can make them take care of this matter more quickly? I just went ahead and paid my banks fees just so I could use my bank account again. Did I do the right thing? What if the credit card company never received the fax and they end up asking for another one, how can I make sure that they receive it? They corrected the mistake between the $2.27 and $227.00, maybe that’s all I can hope for.
