I was thinking about opening up an account with ING direct or SalemFive but it’s not possible with them to transfer money online to Europe.
Is there a bank out there that does that?
I am considering opening an on-line checking account, since I know that regular banks are in trouble (Think T.A.R.P.) and you will know what I mean. I just wonder if on-line accounts are any “safer” than regular accounts were? Which way is the best/safest way to deposit ones money. Any information, about the difference between on-line, and “traditional” accounts, would be appreciated.
I am looking for a company like e-trade or TD Ameritrade that allows customers online banking including savings and checking accounts?

How can I find bank auctioned homes in US and take part in the bidding. Can I do it over Internet?
We have norton and barclays bank is a secure encrypted site but our wireless network is unsecure, but we are waiting for someone to set up the secure network. But would it be ok to online bank while the wireless network is unsecure or should i wait?
Online banking is unavailable due to system maintenance. Calling the “800″ number gets a message stating that neither the automated telephone system nor the account representatives have account information either. It isn’t even 11:00 p.m. in my area yet. Why couldn’t they wait until 3:00 a.m.? Or perhaps they could have a backup system that would take over during these outages?
Well, I guess I should have mentioned that it’s “schedule system maintenance.”
Obviously Visa doesn’t shut down their entire system nationwide.
